Super Greens Pineapple Smoothie Bowl

It’s been almost a month since I have returned from my trip to Bali, which was ahmazing! Still, all I want to eat are smoothie bowls for breakfast. Two of my favourite ingredients that I love to add to my smoothies are: Spinach and Pineapple and here is why.

Benefits of Spinach:

  • High in Vitamin A

  • High in Vitamin K

  • High in fiber

  • Anti-Inflammatory

  • Antioxidant

  • Natural treatment for constipation

  • Rich in iron and chlorophyll

Benefits of Pineapple:

  • Contains an enzyme called bromelain that increases digestion

  • Aids in hydration

  • Natural treatment for diarrhea

  • Rich source of Vitamin C

  • High in fiber

  • Anti-inflammatory

This is definitely not an exhaustive list of the benefits but my favourite is the Anti-Inflammatory benefits which help with bloating as well.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of Coconut Milk*

  • ½ cup of Coconut Pineapple Water

  • 2 handfuls of spinach

  • 1 cup of pineapple

  • Frozen Blueberries (optional)**

  • Golgi Berries (optional)**

  • Coconut Flakes (optional)**

  • Flaxseeds (optional)**

  • Pumpkin Seeds (optional)**

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients in the same order as above in Vitamix, or any other high-speed blender and mix.

  2. Add optional garnishes

  3. Enjoy!

*You can add another non-diary milk that you will like
